Lisa Jopt has been the Executive President of the GDBA since May 2021. She is an actress and the first woman to hold this position. She studied acting at the HMT in Leipzig until 2010 and founded the ensemble-netzwerk, an association dedicated to improving working conditions in regional, municipal and state theaters, at a kitchen table in 2015 together with Johanna Lücke, who was an assistant director at the time. In 2018, she also initiated the conference series Burning Issues - performing arts & equality together with Nicola Bramkamp.

Raphael Westermeier
Seit September 2023 ist Raphael Westermeier Stellvertretender Vorsitzender des Hauptvorstands der GDBA. Er ist 1982 in Köln geboren und Schauspieler. Er war an den Theatern in Ulm und Tübingen engagiert und bis 2024 am Theater Dortmund. Gastengagements führten ihn außerdem in die Schweiz und nach Ungarn, sowie an die Theater in Konstanz, Oberhausen und Freiburg. Ab 2021 war er Mitglied im Beirat. Seit 2023 ist er Landesvorsitzender der GDBA in NRW. Seit August 2024 arbeitet er hauptamtlich als Gewerkschaftssekretär für die GDBA.
