Cooperative Day

The Cooperative Day is the highest body of GDBA. Here, the delegates of all local and grassroots associations meet every one to four years, elect the president and the advisory board, discuss and decide on substantive motions from the membership and thus set the political direction for the work of the main board and the substantive orientation of GDBA.

GDBA goes Kulturhauptstatt

The Cooperative Day 2025 will take place from May 19 to 21, 2025 in the Capital of Culture Chemnitz.

Almost four years have passed since the 2021 Online Cooperative Day elected Lisa Jopt as President, the Advisory Board and the auditors. In May 2025, the terms of office will end and around 200 delegates from all local and grassroots associations will come to the European Capital of Culture to re-elect these offices, debate them, pass motions and thus set the course for the GDBA's trade union work in the coming years.
