Departments
Departments connect members with common perspectives, such as individual job descriptions. The departments are intended to bring more perspectives and expertise to GDBA's work.

Each member may participate in the Departments or initiate the establishment of a new Department. Their recognition as an official Department of the GDBA is decided by the Main Board or the Cooperative Day.

Working groups (AGs)
Members with common thematic interests network in working groups. The WGs are a virtual place for exchange and work on content. Here, topic-specific expertise is developed from the grassroots and contributed to the work of GDBA.
First of all, we have set ourselves the task of creating an open forum for diversity by members for members. Once a month, there should be a 1- to 2-hour Zoom where everyone can talk about their individual issues and experiences. In the exchange, allies are found who can then set a concrete work goal.
As diverse as the GDBA, as diverse the drive - whether it's about severely disabled commissioners, 360-degree agent:ing, the Z-word in musical theater, equality, racism, equal rights and so much more.
In January, we invited a 360-degree agent from Karlsruhe to report on her work. Here the focus was on racism. In February, a member with a disability contacted us and we researched this.
