Action 40,000

The "40,000 theater employees meet their MPs" campaign was awarded the DER FAUST theater prize in the Perspective Prize category in 2018. GDBA members have been active participants in this campaign since the beginning.

Theater employees talk about their everyday lives and the working situation at the theater. They are the experts and can explain the importance of the performing arts to political decision-makers. This is important lobbying work in the most positive sense. Especially now, it is important to seek contact with local political representatives. Through the reports of theater professionals, they can find out what the reality of work and the conditions at the theaters actually are.

We call on local members to exchange ideas with their colleagues and to form joint action groups and invite the members of the Democratic parliamentary groups to talks. It is important that many people PARTICIPATE AND BECOME ACTIVE.
