The pay rises will also benefit NV Bühne employees. Following the collective wage agreement in the public sector, the sister unions BFFS, GDBA and VdO negotiate with the German Stage Association on the corresponding adjustment of salaries. As far as possible, the TVöD agreement is generally transferred one-to-one to the NV Bühne.
Yes, the GDBA welcomes the participation of NV-Bühne employees in the strikes during their free time. If you are not on duty or have a break, you are welcome to support ver.di's actions by wearing the GDBA vest.
At some theaters, we GDBA members are specifically called upon to take part in solidarity strikes. This will be coordinated directly with the local strike management. Participation during working hours is only possible after an official call by the GDBA - and only then may strike pay be paid. As long as no such call is made, we recommend participation during breaks or free time.
Employers are entitled not to pay for striking working hours, but the GDBA pays striking members a strike allowance, also for guests who are affected by strikes, just take a look at the strike regulations.
Attention! Strike pay may only be paid if the GDBA calls a solidarity strike at a building.
Yes, if ver.di calls on NV Bühne employees to take part in solidarity strikes, this is legally permissible. However, it is possible that the employer will then deduct a small part of your pay because you were not available to work for them. It is therefore advisable to take part in actions during your break or free time.
