As announced, the three sister unions BFFS, GDBA and VdO negotiated with the German Stage Association in Leipzig on January 15 and 16 for improved working conditions at the German theaters in Leipzig. 

The German Stage Association has made decisive moves in response to the central demands for more relief and predictability.

We have also made progress in the area of stage technology, although we are still far apart on key points. 

The progress is due to the fact that the members of BFFS and GDBA have shown a willingness to strike.

The artists' unions will not strike tomorrow for the time being

Now it's time for the next round of negotiations on February 18/19 in Hamburg. We expect that we will be able to resolve all outstanding issues at the negotiating table in the next round.

Please stay prepared and be aware that BFFS and GDBA may have to call warning strikes in February. We will keep you up to date.
