
Raphael Westermeier is Lisa Jopt's new deputy
Raphael Westermeier is Lisa Jopt's deputy. He has been Deputy Chairman of the GDBA Main Board since September 2023.
He was born in Cologne in 1982 and completed his acting studies in 2005 in Munich at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding. He was then engaged at the theaters in Ulm and Tübingen and since 2020 at the Theater Dortmund. Guest engagements have also taken him to Switzerland and Hungary, as well as to the theaters in Konstanz, Oberhausen and Freiburg.
At the Theater Dortmund, Raphael helped create an agreement on partnership-based behavior in the workplace and has also served as a conflict consultant there since the 2023/24 season.
From 2021, he was a member of the Advisory Board. Since May 2023, he has been state chairman of GDBA in North Rhine-Westphalia and deputy chairman of the Solo occupational group.
