Top-level talks open perspective for return to the negotiating table and start of negotiations for visiting artists

Hamburg/Cologne/Berlin, October 19, 2023 - Shortly before the break in the season, collective bargaining on working hours between the artists' unions BFFS, GDBA, VdO and the German Stage Association broke down. Now, in a constructive summit meeting initiated by the unions, the parties have agreed to resume talks on the regulation of working hours in the NV Bühne.

Other pressing negotiation issues are also no longer to be postponed. It is planned to start collective bargaining for visiting artists before the end of the year.
